Cohaesus Consulting Group, Inc. specializes in capital raising campaigns and advisory services for small to middle market companies and commercial real estate. We have a combined 30 years of experience in underwriting, structuring and financing commercial and corporate transactions ranging in size from $1,000,000. - $150,000,000.
We underwrite requests, and act as a lead intermediary for capital derived from commercial banks, life companies, pension and private funds, respectively.

We specialize in East-West investments: Because of our deep knowledge of both territories, our team has extensive experience in bridging a connection in various market segments such as real estate, marketing, manufacturing and hospitality. As such, we can open up a whole new world of commercial opportunities to our investees, who would not ordinarily have the time, resource or knowledge to explore Asia or the United States.

Derek J. Raab
Managing Director, Chief Executive Officer
Derek Raab has over 15 years of experience in Commercial, Corporate and Institutional Banking. Throughout this time Mr. Raab has had the opportunity to provide portfolio management and leadership in structuring, underwriting, and managing a broad array of middle market credit facilities to a wide range of industries.
ransaction types have included private shareholder buyouts, corporate mergers and acquisitions, Employee Stock Ownership Plans, expansion capital and a varied array of institutional quality commercial real estate transactions.
In addition to the aforementioned Mr. Raab has also helped to facilitate custom debt instruments designed to increase capital for corporation’s short and long term liquidity shortfalls. Historical transaction sizes have been between $1,000,000 - $150,000,000.
Derek, began his commercial banking career with US Bancorp and has held Vice President positions at several other large regional banks. He has been invited to speak on behalf of various nonprofit organizations specializing in emerging companies within the state of Oregon. Mr. Raab has also worked with city, state and federal programs that specialize in providing information and financing for small upstart and high growth companies. Mr. Raab was born and raised in the Portland, Oregon area and is personally involved in several non profit organizations.
Anthony N. Ton

Anthony Ton has over 15 years of banking experience. He worked at Riverview Community Bank as its Vice President in Commercial Lending, before co-founded Cohaesus Captial Group, Inc. Mr. Ton was previously the Commercial Lending Manager for a local community bank, and has held various branch management, sales, and small business banking positions with a national bank.
Throughout this time Mr. Ton has had the opportunity to provide portfolio management and leadership in structuring, underwriting, and managing a broad array of middle market credit facilities to a wide range of industries. In addition, Mr. Ton has over 10 years experience in construction lending and spec lending. Mr. Ton has extensive business connections in China, Japan, and Vietnam. A frequent international traveler!
Mr. Ton has a Master of International Management degree from Portland State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Washington State University.
By examinating environmental and Social Governance implications of our investments, enables us to be good stewards of the capital committed to us by our investors. When we consider these implications, it is just one of many features we take in the process of investing. We believe this process is also part of being a good corporate citizen when building, managing and acquiring projects with integrity.
